Zack

2006 - 2015

It turns out that the picture at the beginning of this blog, of Zack watching us leave, is the last that we will ever see of him.  Thirteen days into our trip on April 27, he was attacked by raccoons and was too badly injured to save.  Knowing him he would have put up a good fight, but one that he could not win.

Our consolation is that, for nearly nine years with us, he lived a healthy and happy life on his own terms in the great outdoors which he loved.

We miss him already and dedicate this blog to him.
