Italy > Greece > Paris - Introduction
 
In mid-April we'll be heading for Rome via London Heathrow. We'll spend four nights there before taking the high-speed train, the 'Silver Arrow', to Venice for four days and five nights exploring the city and its canals. From Venice we sail away on Holland America's Zuiderdam following the route above for eleven days before arriving back in Rome and transferring immediately to another train to Paris. We last spent time there forty years ago (1974) so we really look forward to getting reacquainted with the city. We will update the story of this trip as often as we can, time and internet access permitting, so check back regularly by clicking on the links to the right of the map.
