More wandering through little streets and squares, across canals and into the occasional church. In one spot the public was serenaded by an old gentleman with a wonderful voice which without any amplification filled the whole square. Gondoliers resting, boats working, streets taking a siesta while the Grand Canal still teemed with water traffic.
