South America - Day 14

Tuesday - Valentine’s Day at Sea

Woke to a thick sea mist and the ship’s horn.

The mist burned off after a couple of hours to be followed by a rather uneventful sea day.  The temperature has risen considerably - probably well into the twenties – and the humidity is also noticeable.

Lobster for dinner was good, and we bought a bottle of champagne for the table to toast St. Valentine and, belatedly, our 40th anniversary.

Later, to Thea’s amazement, we had a few slow shuffles around the dance floor before retiring.
